This is a way of making oatmeal by soaking/softening into liquid (mainly milk) overnight or for 5-6 hours. This is a healthy way to cook.

This recipe comes with

  1. Base Recipe
  2. Topping/Flavoring

Base Oats Mix

  1. 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
  2. 1 TBSP Chia Seeds
  3. 1/2 Cup Milk
  4. 1/4 Cup Greek Yogurt
  5. 1 TBSP Maple Syrup / Honey
  6. Few Threads of Saffron
  7. 1 Pinch of Cardamom Powder
  8. 1 Small Pinch Of Clove Powder
  9. 1 Pinch of Cinnamon Powder

Mix Everything.

Heat in Microwave for 30 seconds (Optional).

Place in freeze and take out after 4-5 hours.

Topping / Flavoring (On Top of Base Oats Mix)

There are different varieties of toppings you can add to make varieties of tastes

  1. Berries Like Cranberries, Blue berries, Black currents, Raisins, Raspberries etc.
  2. Cherries
  3. Fruits like Banana, Pineapple, Apples, Sapota, Pomegranate etc.
  4. Chopped Nuts like Almonds, Walnut, Pistachios, Cashew Nuts, Pecan Nuts, Brazil Nuts, Hazel Nuts etc.
  5. Seeds like Flaxseed, Watermelon, Muskmelon etc.
  6. Crushed Chocolates, Candies etc.
  7. Ice-creams
  8. Syrups
  9. Peanut Butter
  10. Corn Flakes
  11. Coconut Flakes
  12. Coffee Latte, Espresso, Cocoa Powder
  13. Lemon
  14. Herbs – Ginger(Minsed), Rosemary, Mugwort, Lavender, Chamomile etc.
  15. Vanilla Extract (Very Little)
  16. Rooh Afjah Syrup (Very Little)

For more varieties oats can be accompanied or replaced by millets as well.
